How JobToolShed works
A lightweight contractor sales workspace.
JobToolShed stays narrow on purpose — it helps you write the proposal and the next follow-up message. You send it. Works standalone or alongside your existing estimating app, CRM, email, or text messages.
- 1Save your business defaults.
Trade, default tone, deposit policy, warranty language, sign-off, and proposal defaults like payment terms and warranty text. JobToolShed uses these so every proposal and follow-up sounds like you.
- 2Create a customer and job — or work standalone.
Track your customers and jobs inside JobToolShed, or skip straight to a proposal or follow-up without any of that setup. Both modes work.
- 3Build a proposal / sales pack from rough notes.
Drop in site-visit notes, materials/labor, budget, timeline, and risks. JobToolShed generates client-ready proposal language including scope, exclusions, price options, warranty, payment terms, and email/SMS versions.
- 4Copy or download the proposal content.
Paste the proposal into your email, your existing estimating app, your CRM, a document, or whatever you already use. Nothing is sent automatically.
- 5Generate follow-ups tied to the same job.
When the customer goes quiet, create a follow-up pack from the proposal. It is automatically linked back to the customer, job, and source proposal.
- 6Paste and send from your own tools.
Copy text and email drafts into your phone, email client, or the platform you already use. JobToolShed does not send messages for you.
Review all prices, terms, legal requirements, permits, warranties, and project details before sending anything to a customer.
